Gorgeous views while at sea!
The boat below was in Seward. There are always a lot of birds following the boats.
Killer whales are abundant in the Bering Sea. I feel blessed to have seen them so close.
Homer has hundreds of Bald eagles on the spit. These are immature eagles. That was one big tangled mess aboard the long liner!
Portage Glacier, on the left, was totally awesome! The "rock" is located in the Bering Sea on the edge of Dutch Harbor. Katchemak Bay in Homer, on the right, was just gorgeous! The photo was taken at 11 PM in April.
This northern fur seal was a real cutie! He came right up to the long liner. He was dining on the fish caught on the hooks below the water.
The sunsets at sea in Alaska were the most spectacular I have ever seen!
This sperm whale was so fun to watch. I couldn't believe how large it was!
The scenery is part of what makes Alaska the special place that is!
I hope that you enjoyed the pictures of Alaska!
